Centrosolar Canada has announced the release of the S-Series photovoltaic modules, now available to local solar dealers and installers. Engineered in Germany and manufactured in Ontario, Centrosolar Canada's S-Series is designed for both residential and commercial applications.

"We are excited to introduce our first Ontario-made PV panel to this market to meet the growing demand for renewable energy driven by the Ontario Feed-in-Tariff program"," said Centrosolar Canada CEO Deep Chakraborty."

The S-Series module is designed to deliver reliable and peak performance power levels in cloudy and lower-sun areas and under the weather conditions found in Canada including ice, hail, snow, high winds, and extreme temperatures. It features a chemical resistant and flame retardant back sheet and high-transparency impact-resistant tempered glass for maximum durability and performance over the life of the installation.

The S-Series is powered by 60 polycrystalline high-efficiency silicon cells. A standout feature is the high load rating, up to 5400 Pa as measured by the IEC 61215 advanced testing.

The S-Series comes standard with MC4 snap-connectors and provides a positive power tolerance rating of 0/ 4.99W, which translates into more power out of the 235W module per DC wattage than other comparably rated modules.

The S-Series is also offered as part of Centrosolar Canada's CentroPack System. The CentroPack is the company's 'all in one-box' solar system, providing Canadian installers with a turnkey system, pre-packaged with all the components needed to install an approved residential or commercial roof-top PV system.

The CentroPack includes the S-Series PV panels, mounting systems, inverters, and all the electrical and other hardware needed. Site plans, roof load calculations, wiring diagrams and mechanical and structural details are included.

"With our warehouse located in Markham, Ontario, and now, with the introduction of the S-Series, our Canadian partners can count on the same quality products, training, engineering and technical support they need for turnkey, seamless installations" said Chakraborty
