Evolution Solar has announced that construction on the solar power lighting demonstration project located in the City of Brookshire, Texas has been completed.

The project was initiated by an LOI between EVSO and the City of Brookshire. The City of Brookshire supplied the location for the project and will allow EVSO access to the project to use as a demonstration site for potential EVSO customers.

Management of EVSO and City of Brookshire leaders will be meeting at the project site later today to observe the solar equipment in operation.

"We are elated to have this project in operation," stated Robert Hines, President of EVSO. "The City of Brookshire has been a great partner throughout the project. This is a very positive step for our Company and a significant milestone for City of Brookshire," he concluded.

Joey Vaughn, the Mayor of Brookshire added "We are excited to have this project up and running, it puts the City of Brookshire in a great place to build on our Green Initiative."

Evolution Solar is also constructing a solar demonstration site in partnership with Texas Southern University, located at the University's Houston Campus.

Multiple demonstration projects should help Evolution Solar acquire new business in a sector that is growing to compete in the energy industry, which includes Imperial Oil, Canadian Solar and Massey Energy.
