Eleven chemical plant workers died on Monday when the ceiling of their factory in southwestern China caved in, state media reported.
The accident occurred in Chongqing municipality at the Jianfeng chemical factory, Xinhua news agency said, quoting local officials.
The report said 11 bodies had been recovered, but that a 12th worker could also be buried. It gave no other details.
Deadly workplace accidents are common in China, where awareness and enforcement of basic safety practices is lax.
