Framatome has announced the launch of FoxGuard EU at the International Cybersecurity Forum in Lille, France. This new business leverages the cybersecurity expertise of U.S.-based FoxGuard Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Framatome, for the European industry.
Framatome has been advising utilities worldwide since 2012 in developing and implementing cybersecurity programs for both nuclear and non-nuclear assets. As its Center of Excellence for Cybersecurity, FoxGuard Solutions strengthens Framatome's cybersecurity offering for the energy industry to include consulting services, implementation, managed solutions, and specific security hardware and control system equipment.
"With the launch of FoxGuard EU, we can offer our European energy customers and other industrial stakeholders leading cybersecurity services," said Catherine Cornand, senior executive vice president of Framatome's Installed Base Business Unit. "Together, we have the means to strengthen Europe's resilience in the face of ongoing cyber threats."
Framatome acquired FoxGuard Solutions in 2019. FoxGuard designs, manufactures, and integrates industrial computing, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance solutions used in critical infrastructure markets. Founded 40 years ago, FoxGuard is the U.S. leader in vulnerability and patch management services in the industrial sector.
"FoxGuard EU will bring the best cybersecurity services and integrated technologies to European industries in a way that respects their sovereignty requirements while addressing their need for cyber maturity and compliance," said Patrick Patterson, president of FoxGuard Solutions.
"We look forward to offering European customers our high-quality cyber services and commitment to excellence."
