ReOrbit, a satellite provider based in Helsinki, has entered into a strategic partnership with Uzma Berhad, a key player in Malaysia's energy and technology sectors. The collaboration centers on developing a Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) communications satellite aimed at improving connectivity across Malaysia.
The project will leverage ReOrbit's software-enabled satellite technology to deliver enhanced, consistent coverage throughout the region. Uzma Group's CEO, Dato' Kamarul Redzuan bin Muhamed, highlighted the significance of this collaboration, stating, "Satellites and new space technologies are revolutionizing the way we connect, observe, and understand our world. Together, using our combined skill sets, we aim to unlock new opportunities and create a sustainable future in the New Space Economy."
