CoreFlow has announced its expansion into North America with the opening of a sales and technical support office in San Francisco, CA. The office will support CoreFlow's growing number of customers in North America and address new precision manufacturing markets in that region.
"We are expanding into North America to support our growing presence in the Photovoltaic Industry and continue to expand our customer base in the Flat Panel Display (FPD) market," states Eric Joeli, VP Sales and Marketing at CoreFlow.
"Our non-contact solutions for conveying, handling, and processing of crystalline wafers and thin-film solar glass substrates provide mature, proven solutions focusing on specific customer requirements and overall system performance.
"In the emerging Photovoltaic Industry, driven by the urgent need to make renewable energy cost-competitive, our handling solutions present a clear return on investment. We have already established ourselves as a supplier of aeromechanical floating systems for glass handling of Laser Scribing systems."
Marc Delorme, Business Development Director, will lead the North American sales and support efforts.
He brings with him significant experience in capital equipment development for high volume manufacturing industries, most recently leading a team developing high duty-cycle CTP (computer to plate) devices for the graphic arts industry.
